I’m DJ — a photographer, filmmaker, and yoga teacher based on the wild coastline of Halfmoon Bay, British Columbia.

I work with both digital black & white film in my home studio, where I process everything by hand. Photography, for me, is a slow and intentional practice. I’m drawn to the quiet honesty of portraiture and to stories that reveal something human — something real.

I also teach yoga in the Iyengar tradition, helping people regain mobility and move with confidence again. Whether I’m teaching, filming, or photographing, I’m interested in how people move through life — what shapes them, what heals them, and what they carry.

My current work explores themes of place, purpose, and transformation. I collaborate with individuals and organizations doing good in the world — especially those helping others reconnect with nature, body, and community.

My lens is simple: show up, be curious, stay honest — and if possible, make someone smile along the way.
